Academy Chamber: Raditz

Kale sat, crossed legged in the center of the arena. With his arms crossed and his eyes shut, he began to focus on his Ki. He sent energy out in waves, making a ripple effect through the air. His body began to glow as did the waves of energy he sent out. The glow became a bright red as the energy began to swirl around him. He heard a faint voice followed by footsteps entering the room. He let out a Kiai, sending out his gathered energy in a burst, shaking the arena. He opened his eyes, glaring at the young woman who stepped in."Another one of you late? Can any of you be on time? Your fellow recruits are on a mission. They went to Kakarot city. Go find them and get out of my sight."

Harujin was the first to return and enter back into the Academy Raditz room. He noticed Kale patiently waiting, with the usual sour expression on his face, but did not speak. Harujin then waited for the others to return before moving any closer to Kale.

Guiv meandered in after everyone else, kind of annoyed at the fact of another unfair fight, and the lack of respect from the academy to tell the students that there are OTHER students coming to help. He pulled out and apple and floated about face level with Harujin in a cross legged state

And Kaku was the last to come trailing in behind the others and was just as quiet. She knew their so called assignment hadn't gone very well. They left the city partly wrecked, endangered the lives of others, one guy died, and their target was turned into a candy bar. 'Ah man... this really sucks...' Kaku just kept her head down, avoiding any sort of eye contact. The mission was to kill the changeling, failure to do so would result in execution. So, does turning them into candy really even qualify as being dead? Candy wasn't technically considered to be a living thing, so maybe if she pointed out that little loop hole they could all get off the hook without any sort of punishment.

She stood there quietly, now sort of awkwardly looking around the chamber and still avoiding to make eye contact. Her tail would only swing side to side just slightly as she thought to herself. 'I wonder if we get any lunch breaks. I knew there's a cafeteria in here, I can smell it. I wonder what they're even making for today...'

Using Instant Transmission the king again arrived in the chamber and saw that three made it back but it was not the same three that left. "So you guys made it back alive. I'm surprised one of you hasn't died. Defeating that changeling should have been a challenge for you." He paused for a moment he could see that they wanted more more they couldn't. "For now you pass. Today's training is over but the day is not. Because of the damage you have caused you help rebuild what you have destroyed before you are allowed back to your rooms." He waited to see how the group would respond to him.

"Awwww!" Harujin groaned somewhat loudly but understood, and complied nonetheless. I mean they did cause some of the mess, even though most of it was from the Changeling. Hanging his head, Harujin slowly started to lift from the ground and float away to start cleaning up the city.

*Bayikk walked in, he missed the opening day due to complications with interstellar travel, but as soon as he good into a few feet of the king he snapped into attention and saluted*

Honor to meet you sure, I would have arrived earlier but do to pirating between the two planets my flight was delayed. In any means I plan on catching up in any missed training sessions by going to the gravity chambers if necessary. Hopefully I'm not late to this class as well for I feel a bit drowsy from the long flight and i'm thinking a good training session kill get my blood circulating again.

"One dies and we gain another. How disappointing you all couldn't have been killed." Kale said looking over at Bayikk, noting the absence and failing life energy coming from Guaba."Its funny you should mention the gravity chambers, when we're standing in a giant one right now."Kale took out a device and began to type in some commands."After the others return, we'll begin the rest of the day's training."

'What? That's... it? Are you kidding me?!'

"No. Haru, wait up." Kaku raised her hand, signalling for Harujin to wait just a moment. Something obviously didn't sit right with her. The small Saiyan stepped forward, albeit a tad nervous in doing so as her steps weren't very broad at all. "Is that it? All we have to do is just go clean up our mess and move on?" A fairly stern tone in her voice as she directed her argument to the two instructors.

"That guy... I uh, I didn't really catch his name but, well he died out there! The least we could do is give him some kind of proper burial or something! I hardly consider this a win if we lost someone int hr process. I mean, for all we know, he might not even be dead! He... could uh... just be really hurt... or... something." Alright, to her argument was slowly dying down. Kaku highly doubted that guy was even still alive anyway but, well there might have been some small chance, right? Her voice lost all power and eventually she just went quiet again, her tail somewhat tucked between her legs.

Kale turned around, hearing Kaku's Plea for Guaba, and the refusal to accept the task in her voice. As a full blooded Saiyan, Kale doesn't understand such emotions like compassion for other living things. To him, emotions are useless, they get in the way of becoming stronger. He walked, heavy footed over to the small, half saiyan and grabbed her collar, lifting her several feet from the ground."Are you refusing the King's request? The punishment for insubordination is death!" His face was about two inches from hers as he yelled. Kale thrusted his arm outward, letting go of her collar, with enough force to send her several feet back. Kale turned around and headed back to his seat."If you happen to find his body while you clean up the city, do what you want with it. Just don't bring it here."

Before she knew it, her feet weren't even touching the floor anymore. Now kicking her legs a little bit as she struggled while being held up, grasping at his wrist with her hands. This type of hostility wasn't something she was used to, so it wasn't a surprise that such harsh action suddenly startled her enough to cause her tail to bush out in a fright. "I'm not refusing anything!" She refused, trying to kick her feet again. "But you can't jus-!!"

Well at least he finally let her go. unfortunately, it was the wall across the room that managed to catch her fall. Kaku hadn't expected the wall to hurt do badly and upon impact, she fell right to the floor in a heap. It took her a moment to finally regain herself, now slowly getting back up to her feet. The young Saiyan opened her mouth in an attempt of a rebuttal but... nothing. Instead she would quietly collect herself up from the floor. Though she kept silence, her annoyance was obviously displayed as her tail swatted back and forth behind her.

Kaku stood there for a moment, watching him go and return to his place. Her eyes just fixated on him before finally moving away as she turned and headed for the door.

*Bayikk rose an eyebrow at the light quarrel in command not knowing what mess the other trainees have caused. His trainings at the academy in Yardrat were more tactical, energy control, the occasional sparring match to test one's growth, and his father kept him um with a cardio regiment. He was a little curious about the saiyan's training methods, but it didn't bother him much as long as he got to join the military and increase his limits*

*Bayikk turned to the instructor and bowed respectfully*

I understand from what I just overheard was that my fellow trainees have gotten into a conflict, but didn't access damage control. If it's quite alright with you I would like to assist my fellow class in their clean up efforts. Alright I'm of then, see you when I get back

*Bayikk disappears in a flash of speed*

Harujin somewhat tired, walked back into the Raditz room. The entirety of the restoration and clean up had wor him out, but he would soon recover, it was nothing as tiring as fighting. He waited for his friends, and new ally to enter soon enough.

Guiv followed suit, walking in after having a boring day, looking for a fight

Last. As usual. Kaku practically had to drag herself in. Sure, she was just as exhausted as everyone else but what was making it worse was the fact she was starving on top of all that. After all the fighting and the clean up duty, it definitely worked up an appetite and they weren't even given a chance to eat yet! 'This is cruel and unusual punishment...'

Her stomach let out a faint grumbling noise as she cringed and wrapped her around around her midsection. "Nnngh..." Her groaning sounded as if she was in pain or something.

*Bayikk followed in behind, it was his nature to watch after his allies. The cleanup wasn't much of a problem, but he still felt lacking. He knew that as soon as he would be dismissed he would head off to a gravity chamber even though he knew that he still had to set up his room*

Kale left his throne as he walked over to the group."Now that you have all returned, we'll start with the remainder of the day's training." Kale pulled out the command pad he frequently used during training."Your task this time, catch an old training partner of mine." A large lizard like creature, similar looking to a Hellbender Salamander, made its way over to Kale's side. Average looking, that is, until he stood up on his hind legs and began stretching."Why, hello there youngsters." The Hellbender said with an Elderly raspy voice. He had dark red skin, bright orange eyes and stood on his back legs nearly six feet in the air. His tail added another six feet to his overall length."Gueric, my old friend. I have a special task arranged for you. Let these recruits chase you around a bit." Gueric began to stretch some more, his bones could be heard creaking and cracking."Anything for you, Kale my boy." Gueric began to laugh, then coughed and wheezed some.

Kale spoke, explaining the task ahead of the group. Harujin stared at the salamander man, he looked and sounded to be very old. 'Catch him? He kinda looks like he can barly stand on his own. We have to catch HIM?' Harujin thought to himself, but then shook the thought as he knew very well, that looks can be decieving. Harujin then stepped forward ahead of everyone else, and readied himself into a stance that looked like he could take off at any moment. "Let's do this Old man!" he said with a big smile on his face, staring at Gueric, keeping his eyes on him in a way that he is when fighting.

*Bayikk stepped out crouching on his front leg with his toes digging into the ground*

Never underestimate the opponent... There is a reason Kale brought him out here after all... and also, with age comes experience so expect tact...

*Bayikk awaited the orders to begin, eying down the target*

Catch him? At least it's a new task. Guiv crosses his arms, annoyed its not a fight.

'He kinda looks like that lizard I kept as a pet last summer.' Kaku had to actually lift her head up to look at the lizard like man. Apparently, their task was to catch him. Seemed fair enough. Like an elaborate game of tag or something. 'Dabaru is old, and she's kinda slow. It's way easy to catch her so this should be a piece of cake!'

Her stomach growled again and Kaku sort of coiled into herself a bit more. "Eeegh..." The Saiyan would slowly raise her hand, taking a step forward. "Hey uh, we've been at this all day... how about we stop for a snack huh?"

"You can rest once you've successfully caught Gueric! Not a moment sooner." Kale pulled out the command pad. He began pressing more buttons as the Arena became locked and air tight. Bright lights from the ceiling came on and a loud humming noise can be heard. Suddenly, the pressure in the room became stronger."Oh,and I forgot one thing. You'll be doing this under twenty times Earth's gravity!" Kale laughed as the meter on his datapad reached twenty. He continued his laughter as he watched the group collapse to the ground, struggling to get back on their feet. He moved around with ease, completely unaffected by the weight. In a flash, Gueric ran up to each recruit patting them on the head. Gueric ran back over to Kale's side and waited for the recruits to stand.

Kale and Gueric watched on as they began to rise, hunched over, barely able to straighten out their spines.
"Now, begin!" Kale shouted.

*Bayikk swiftly took out a sword and pressed the tip against the ground to lean on it for support, but the immense increase in gravity caused the sword stab throw the ground like butter until only the guard and hilt were visible causing Bayikk's knees to buckle and knell with one leg. Bayikk jolted his head up and grinned. He then removed his boots and socks to get better traction rotating each ankle a bit and cracking his neck from side to side before returning his sword to it's holster thinking the more weight and wind drag the better. Bayikk turned to Kale and nodded pleased by the training even thought it wa a little different than as he planned*

Thanks sir for taking in to account my request of added gravity...

*Those were the last words Bayikk spoke as a predatorial atmosphere were emitting from him. He crouched down eying his prey like a wolf anticipating the moves of his prey and more importantly each and every movement of his comrades.*

He immeadietely fell to the ground, on all fours, caught completely by surprise by the sudden added gravity. Harujin hadnt experienced any gravity chambers before, and didnt expect it to be used here. He just figured that Gueric would just be fast on his own, but clearly this was not the case. He struggled just to lift his chest up off the ground, his arms shaking as he did so. He didn't think he would have the strength to totally stand up very soon, and so he didn't bother going that far. He got one foot flat on the ground, while one other hand helped stabilize the rest of his body. As beads of sweat rolled down Harujin's body, he looked up to Gueric, trying to get into a suitable position for a quick leap toward him. Though he knew he wouldn't come even close to him, his body still urged him on to do it, his half-saiyan blood whispering in his head to fight on.

Guiv swung around to his stomach. The lack of bones in his body made the weight push on him in a disturbing, flattened pancake way. If we can't move, we can't catch that lizard. Guiv said, his face directly buried into the floor. He decided to use this time to work on his strength. He couldn't move without strength anyway, and if he couldn't stand up it wouldn't very well make this task any easier now would it?

Guiv placed his arms in a pushup position, and starting on his knees began to try to lift himself up.
