Academy Chamber: Raditz

Alright first thing you guys should notice is that this guy hasn't dropped nor feel encumbered by the increase of gravity. As I thought Gueric here is going to play out to to be quite the advisory. We're not going to be able to accomplish much until we adjust so our best bet now is to think strategically and we'll have to work together on this one.

Our only advantage at the moment is our numbers and the fact that this isn't an open area. Be prepared to move either left or right and mirror his movements, we'll try to hamper what space he has by closing him into a corner. You guys ready, this is going to happen in an instant...

*electricity started building up in his palm as he clenched his wrist. Energy began to build up rapidly until there was a large crackling sound from the mass of energy in his palm. He slowly raised his hand up his arm trembling from the immense gravity as he lifted it. He eyed his comrades to make sure they were ready. Within a flash Bayikk through his hand down into the ground*

ELECTRIC ATTACK!!!

*Bayikk jetted directly at Gueric propelled by an electric beam he shot into the ground. Gueric darted to his right as i flew past inches from touching him but he made it seem as though he had all the time in the world. As he does so I twist my body around to slam my feet into the wall i was flying at with a slight cracking of the reinforced walls*

GOOOO...!!!!!!!

"I didn't say anything about resting, I just wanted to get something to eee- ACK!!"

Once the gravity kicked on it felt like someone dropped about fifty tons of weight on her shoulders. Kaku dropped down to her knees in an instant, only to fall forward again and catch herself on her hands. 'Jeez, they couldn't have just eased us into it?! This is crazy! I can hardly move!' Her stomach growled out loud again. 'But... I won't be able to get anything to eat unless... one of us catches that guy.'

It took her a moment, Kaku's body trembled all over under the extreme stress of the added gravity, but she managed to push herself back up. One leg at first, she tried to steady herself, then finally onto her other leg as she began to rise up.

"Alright...I'm sorry mister lizard guy but... I'm hungry. So you're going down!" Unfortunately, her words spoke much more loudly then her actions as she attempted to sprint forward. Attempted. And only fell right down flat on her face with a hard thump.

"Kaku... Take it slowly..." Harujin slightly struggled to speak from the stress on his body. And eventally he made it to his feet, and painfully slowly moved one of his legs forward. It dragged across the floor, as he struggled with himself, inching toward Gueric, bit by bit. Groaning at how slow he was now, and how long this would take before he even became accustomed to the extra gravity.

"I give you all an hour to catch him. If you fail, I will increase the gravity to thirty times and there will be nothing for you to eat! Pray you don't fail a second. Fifty times gravity plus you'll be wearing our weighted Saiyan armor!" Kale began to laugh as they struggled to get upon their feet. So far, Bayikk was the closest to catching Gueric.

Gueric began to circle around Harujin."Come on young one! I know you've got it in you! At least, you smell like you do hehehe." Gueric laughed his raspy voice rang out. He bang to cough a bit. He paused, then continued circling around another recruit. Gueric darts over to Kaku."Well now! A female in the class eh? We tend to not get many of those."

"What are you doing smelling me!?" Harujin yelled in a weirded out face, and a sudden burst of speed came from his body as he made for Gueric. Of course, this only lasted for a few seconds, and even then he was only moving as fast as he was during normal gravity, and quickly it dissipated. His short burst of rage ending, returning him to his encumbered state, but Harujin could feel his body become just a little more accustomed to the enhanced gravity. As he regained his posture just slightly faster, and found it somewhat easier to stand up.

*Bayikk scowled unhappily and stomped back over to Haru not really having a choose to walk normally. He came closest but it seemed like his rush was dodged by some guy simply strolling in a park.*

We really need to think up something... The increase of gravity is tempting me to hold out... well if I could catch him, but I really can't deal with failure. You want to start brainstorming ideas or what, I'm pretty much game for anything.

"Y-you've... got to be... kidding me!" Kaku groaned as she pushed herself up from the floor and again had to go through the task of setting herself upright on her own two legs. She looked up as Gueric approached her with the utmost ease, apparently the gravity didn't seem to be affecting him much. Lucky jerk. "So what... if I'm a girl?" She didn't tend to pay much mind to gender roles anyway, Kaku could do anything a guy could do. Though being vertically challenged as she was, some things were a bit more difficult then others.

Kaku would get her footing, crouching down just slightly, looking more like a cat ready to pounce. Her tail snapped and she suddenly kicked away from the floor with a leap, her arms out wide to grab the old lizard man.

I've got an idea. Guiv finally stood up, his disgusting extra skinning hanging off him like some deformed walrus. It was gross, even to him. We can't hurt this guy, I assume, even if we hit him. But I'm not saying hit him, what I'm saying is if we shoot ki at him, in beams, and lure him to some central area, and grab him while he's cornered. That might work. Guiv said. He hated unfair odds but even he knew that this gravity was bad but more would only make things worse/harder for them.

Gueric dodged Kaku's attempt. In a flash he appeared, standing on Kaku's back."Oh?"
Gueric noticed a flare in energy coming from Kaku. He decided to play along with it, to aid Kaku by fueling her Saiyan rage."Oh, well it looks like to me that the men here are doing much better than you, little girl." Gueric sped off, heading over to Bayikk. Gueric stops just in front of Bayikk and whips him in the face with his tail. Bayikk tumbles several feet back. He scurries back over to Harujin and sticks his tongue out, taunting the halfling.

As Gueric taunts Harujin, another fit of rage washes over him and his body as he lashes out at Gueric, trying to just hit him at that point, and gives a bit of chase, as he drags his feet across the floor, just a tad faster than before. Not much as Gueric easily gets away, and Harujin's gaze is still fixated on Gueric, never losing sight of him. Saiyan-like rage exudes from him as he continues to slowly attempt following Gueric. His eyes in a glare at Gueric, gritting his teeth tightly, almost appearing as though he were Kale himself, but obviously younger.

Her attempt had completely failed. Kaku stumbled forward as Gueric easily avoided her advance. When he landed, standing on her back, it took nearly everything she had to try not to fall right back down again. The gravity really wasn't helping her cause but at least her knees didn't give out on her. She was thankful for that much. But did it really matter? she couldn't really move with the added pressure between her shoulders.

"Nnnngghh... GET OFF ME!"

Now by the point, she was more frustrated about being hungry rather then the lizard man's taunts. Though that may have added to her little fit. Kaku would snicker to herself a little bit, trying to trick the man by lifting her arms up as if she was trying to grab him with her hands. Her tail however, snapped like a whip and went to wrap itself around Gueric's ankle when she felt that extra weight suddenly jump off. This would have helped to increase her reaction time, sadly not. Their opponent had jetted away just as quickly and was on to his next target. 'Crap, that guy is fast.'

*Bayikk tumbles a few feet back, but as he's falling back he attempts a kip up to regain himself from falling back. His Hands hit the ground with a cracking sound but he pushes through the force off falling with this gravity an managed to pull it off but slowly and painful looking. Bayikk's wrist got sprained but he cracks it a few times grinding his teeth as he did so. Bayikk then finally got an idea from the fall on how to amplify his speed and use the gravity to his advantage. Bayikk used an Electric Attack to send him flying um at the ceiling over Gueric. Bayikk planted his feet on the ceiling and after imaged off to send him flying plus the extra amplifier from the pull of 20x gravity generating a sonic boom. He bursts off the ceiling at hyper speed one arm extended to catch Gueric or use an energy barrier to prevent damage from impact with the ground if Gueric is quick enough to escape all the while sending off electric attacks not hitting him but creating a dome around him giving him no option to move from his location*

Gueric giggled at all their attempts to catch him."Such persistent youth. Kale, I think you've found a good group here." Gueric said, looking over at Kale, making note of their efforts to catch him. He began to rub the back of his head as he saw the group slowly begin to rise to their feet. They stood almost perfectly straight now, their hearts burned with desire to catch Gueric and end the training.

"You all might want to hurry. You have twenty minutes left!"Kale shouted to them.

Harujin's saiyan fit of rage calms down, and slowly he regains rational thought, still trying to catch Gueric. His aura slowly starts to dissipate and dissapear, as his feet still carry him following Gueric. Growing closer and closer to him, inch by hopeful inch that this will finally be over. He has noticed that it does seem to be a bit easier to stand in this gravity now, as his movements toward the lizard man dont seem as sluggish as they were originally.

Guiv was finally starting to feel alright. He began to aimlessly walk at this point, still getting himself used to the gravity. He would walk towards the lizard every time, whom he had grown to hate because of how cocky, arrogant and just plain rude it was. Tyler stood next to Kaku, and touched her on the shoulder. He's not even a Saiyan, don't let him get to you.

Tyler pointed and smiled. Boom. A single, extremely weak, ki blast shot from Guiv's finger. It lazily drifted over to Gueric, who easily managed to get out of the way. As he did Guiv appeared next to him, reaching his arms completely around him. Gueric seemed surprised, until the image faded and Guiv was laughing hysterically. Did you see how surprised he was? Guiv wiped a tear from his eye.

Ah no but really, I think we are totally fine now right? Guiv tried to lift off the ground to fly, but he seemed to be heavily pulled down still. It was very strange to him, this whole gravity concept. He never went to school, so whatever this "gravity" was, it was very VERY annoying.

Omato had never been in a city before, so it was an amazing thing coming into the city of kakorot, Omato often stared off into the distant scene of building after building, all towered over by skyscrapers. Omato had tried not to lose himself within the bustle of the city and head straight for the academy, but that restauraunt on the street corner looked so good....next thing he knew he was already hours late to the first lesson. Crap! I'm late! How am I always the one who shows up last? Omato thought as he approached the academy's doors.
After some directions from a fellow student, he found his way into the chamber marked "Raditz" he looked up to the plate with a quizical look in his eyes.Raditz, I could've sworn I've heard that name somewhere...no matter, probably unimportant.he thought as he opened the door, to see a scene most unnerving, what appeared to be a lizard running about as various people who he presumed to be his age, except for oen abnormaly large fellow he presumed to be in his twenties, tried to catch it. "Did I miss the start of the party? No matter." he stated as he walked into the arena. Immediatley as he did so, he felt extremley heavy, he assumed this to be due to some alternate gravity setting. Ahh, so they even use alternate gravities in this academy, this is looking promising he thought as he struggled to keep his body upright.

Kale looked over at Omato as he entered Raditz."Whats this? Another Saiyan eh?" Kale's brow furrowed as he looked over the boy."Though I'm pleased more Saiyans wish to join us. I'm growing tired of this bunch of misfits here." Kale smiled from just one corner of his mouth. He watched as the Saiyan boy continued to try to stand on his feet upright."You've got some strength there, boy." With a snap of his fingers, the pressure in the room returned to normal. Gueric, who was almost caught by Bayikk, vanished in to thin air, reappearing next to Kale. Bayikk plummeted to the ground."Heh heh. Almost had me there." Gueric coughed again."Alright, class is over for now. For everyone except you." He pointed to Omato."Mind telling us your name?"

Omato looked up at the white haired man, figuring him for some high ranking warrior by the judging of his armor."Omato Saeki.."he stated as he felt the gravity turnign back to normal. So, he wants to keep me back for some extra training, how'd I know this would happen if I was late?he thought, looking towards the rest of the recruits as they left the arena. What an odd group of recruits...there's even a majiin among them!

Suddenly, with the now lack of gravity, Guiv flew wildly and quite uncontrollably into the ceiling. Ow.

Guiv lowered himself to the floor rubbing his head. Did anyone else feel like it was, I don't know harder to do stuff a second ago?

As te gravity returned to normal, Harujin's body felt lighter, and he smiled as he could move freely again. "Yeah, I guess there's a gravity machine built into the Raditz room i suppose." Harujin said, answering Guiv. Noticing the new guy, and how he seemed to be similar to Kaku somehow. He tilted his head, simply staring at Omato, in a child-like manner.

Omato looked solemly at the majiin landing on the floor. "Harder for you maybe." he said with a smirk, even though he could sense the majiin was slightly more powerfull than him. As he shifted his gaze back infront of him, he noticed the boy who looked only like a saiyan but had no tail. Peculiar, I thought all Saiyans were born with tails? he thought to himself. As he noticed the boy (who he realized looked slightly older than him) was just staring at him he grew impatient, "What is it?"

Well if you didn't meander in when it started getting easier then it would have been hard for you too. Not my fault your late. Guiv rubbed his head, deciding whether or not he would introduce himself. This was ANOTHER saiyan, growing quickly to be Guiv's most hated race.

Harujin what's gravity? Guiv asked, deciding that when this new guy decided he didn't want to be rude anymore, then he would love to introduce himself. Some saiyans really needed to learn some damn manners.

Omato simply sighed off to himselfI really ought to learn to be less arrogant... He crossed his arm and manuevered around the kid who was staring at him, where he continued to look up at Kale's throne-like chair.

The king's work was piling up. The war was becoming harder and harder to win. He was losing men daily. "Saiyans aren't as strong as they used to be." His work was close to completion later in the day. He needed more soldiers more promising ones at that. There hasn't been a super saiyan in years. He needed someone to turn the tide. He decided to pay a visit to his brother's chamber to see how the new recruits were coming along.

He also heard of a new saiyan. As quickly as most saw him in his throne he instantly appeared beside Kale. "Brother. What's this I here of a new saiyan." He looked at the promising saiyan but his eyes dazed off to the other resting from their training. He looked back at kale and smiled. "You are far to lenient these days brother." He stretched out his arm and opened his hand. The area around him turned a light black and instantly went into his hand causing an unusual black light.

A blast of energy shot from his hand at the group. If they wanted to live being tired or exhausted wouldn't be a factor.

"Gravity is... uhh.. well..." As Harujin struggled to explain, he noticed from the corner of his eye a black light shooting toward them. "Get out of the way now!" he shouted, manuevering from the blast before it hit. Although he was still a bit tired from the previous training, Harujin's body reacted faster than he had aniticipated. He thought of how before he definetely felt heavier, but now he felt a few pounds lighter and quicker. The world almsot seemed to be a bit... slower to him than it used to. The gravity training Kale had set before them just a few moments before, has definetely helped. Though only slightly, was still enough to be noticeable.
